Join us for Storytime with Cricket of Teaching Responsible Earth Education (T.R.E.E.) reading "Everybody Needs a Rock" by Byrd Baylor.


"Everybody Needs a Rock" is a thoughtful story that invites readers to connect with nature, appreciate the world around them, and discover the beauty in simple things. T.R.E.E. (Teaching Responsible Earth Education) is a New Orleans-based nonprofit with a mission to educate children and adults about our planet, inspire them to appreciate the natural world, and motivate them to protect it. T.R.E.E. offers outdoor, immersive, experiential programming that serves 3rd–7th grade students in schools throughout southeast Louisiana.
