New Year, New Goals!

January is the perfect time to set goals to include literacy in your daily routines. Here are a few suggestions:

Set A Goal: Help your child set a goal for the number of books they will read in the month or year. You can use a sticker chart to track their progress!

Read A Book in a New Genre: Exploring genres can improve your child’s focus, memory, and vocabulary. Unfamiliar genres can be the gateway for your child to discover different perspectives of the world and spark their imagination.

Plan Trips to the Library: The library provides free access to books of any age, topic, size, and length. It is an invaluable tool in learning and development.
